Kirkus: “Sterling debut from a talented writer.”
“A troubled coed demolishes a professor’s carefully arranged life in this engrossing tale of mad love” Thus begins the impressive review of Resurrecting Randi recently provided by Kirkus Discoveries. “Knowing how tough Kirkus can be, we were thrilled,” said Audrey Leslie, publisher of Balios Publishing. “Of course we feel the same way about the book, but booksellers will need more than just our word and now they have it. We’ve decided to increase the size of our initial print run based on this and the other great feedback we’re getting.” (Read the full review. )
“This must be made into a film!”
So said Hollywood film producer Beth Grossbard after reading an advanced copy of RR. Beth, who reads books and screenplays for a living, said she completely lost track of her “professional eye” and got completely caught up in the book. “It is a wonderful novel. Beautifully written, powerful and thought provoking. You accomplished the rare task of making the reader feel like they were walking in the characters’ shoes. All of them. And the end, talk about being blown away!
